Formation, growth and transformation
When creating, structuring, growing or transforming a business calls for revisiting choices, priorities, structures or ways of operating.

A sound recommendation and a sound decision are not necessarily the same thing.
Direction for those who decide

Barbelli Dantas
Barbelli Dantas is a strategic advisory firm led by its founder, with a strong legal and tax background and governance as one of the pillars of its practice.
My experience also spans international expansion, growth and transformation, and material business decisions.

My role
I bring experience, judgement and practical perspective to widen the view of what is at stake, recognise opportunities and risks, weigh paths against each other and find direction.
Where I can help
Every situation starts from what is at stake for the business or for the executive.
When creating, structuring, growing or transforming a business calls for revisiting choices, priorities, structures or ways of operating.
When an opportunity may open a new path, a risk may change the plan, or different alternatives need to be weighed against each other before the business moves ahead.
When a promotion, a new position or leaving the company calls for a clear understanding of the terms involved and the room for negotiation before deciding.
When entering or growing in new markets calls for assessing opportunities, risks, structures, partners and what must change for the expansion to work in practice.
When the evolution of the business calls for redesigning structures, responsibilities, relationships between the different parties, or the way decisions are made.
When material changes in the business affect relationships, interests, responsibilities, continuity or future direction.
Who I work with
People who usually already have experience, knowledge and good specialists around them.
What they are looking for is not simply one more opinion.
They are looking for someone they trust, with whom they can discuss a situation in depth, weigh alternatives, recognise opportunities and risks, and assess which direction makes the most sense for the business.

Patrícia Barbelli
More than 20 years in executive positions at market-leading multinationals, working in highly regulated sectors.
Origin
It was from that learning that Barbelli Dantas was born.
As a specialist
I learned to go deep into a question, test its foundations and build a recommendation.
In C-level positions
I began receiving recommendations built from different perspectives, and deciding what to do with them.
The turning point
That change of position transformed the way I came to see a decision.
After the choice
My career allowed me not only to analyse and recommend, but also to decide, lead transformations and live through what comes after the choice.
Background
My professional path was built over more than 20 years across national and international business environments, at market-leading multinationals and in highly regulated sectors.
I have held executive, C-level and Board positions, leading in Latin America and playing a central role in projects and decisions of global scope.

Different markets, different perspectives
Along this path, I have been directly involved in billions (US$) in risks, opportunities and decisions under my responsibility, across different currencies and geographies.
That international environment exposed me to different corporate cultures, forms of governance, leadership styles and ways of making decisions.

Beyond corporate experience
Working alongside entrepreneurs, new business models and companies at different stages of development continually widens my view of growth, innovation and the challenges of turning ideas into businesses able to evolve.

Other ways of seeing
Art and design are also part of my repertoire and of what I love.
Art widens perspectives. It invites you to look at the same reality in different ways, question the first interpretation and notice relationships that are not always evident.
Design adds another dimension: turning an intention into something that, beyond making sense, works in practice.

Record
The Shift
A single vertical line rises in a straight path. At a certain point it makes a small lateral move, precise and deliberate, and continues. It is not an arrow, nor a fork, nor a chart — it is a line that changes direction once and carries on.
The symbol does not stand for change for its own sake, but for judgement applied to reality.
